Therapy was the first thing they offered. I witnessed a suicide and the first thing they ask is if I want to see a shrink. I said no. But honestly, I didn’t know. It was a weird day and I couldn’t think straight. I felt pressured, but I felt fine.

I just did it.

Here’s what I’m trying to say. I believe that the person you decide to spend the rest of your life with — husband or wife — doesn’t complete you. I hate that. I hate that saying, “You complete me.” No, you are a whole person, you are fine. But what they do is understand you on a level no one else can.
