Good Muslim Reports Bad Muslim For Terrorism, Police Do Nothing — Nation Still Blames All Muslims For Terror ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

By

It was revealed today that Ahmad Khan Rahami, believed to be responsible for pressure cooker bombings in New York and New Jersey was reported to the FBI as a terrorist as little as two years ago by his very own father who suspected he had become radicalized. Here’s what his father told the New York Times:

“Two years ago I go to the F.B.I. because my son was doing really bad, O.K.?” he said. “But they check almost two months, they say, ‘He’s O.K., he’s clean, he’s not a terrorist.’ I say O.K.”

He added: “Now they say he is a terrorist. I say O.K.”

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The FBI came to this determination in 2014, that Rahami was clear of terrorist connections or motivations, all without having a record of even interviewing him even though he’d traveled back and forth to Pakistan from 2010 to 2014 including staying there for a year at one point. Talk about amazing police work. Why did we set up the Department of Homeland Security again?

This revelation, however, hasn’t stopped some Americans from asking the eternally asked question about why “good” muslims aren’t narcing on “bad” muslims more often. Some are even suggesting that Rahami’s father is lying about reporting his son. Who knows, but it’s a pretty specific conclusion to jump to.

And given such a revelation, one that contradicts the xenophobic narrative that all Muslims are terrorists and, probably, not real Americans, it’s very important to these same people that they remind the country that Muslims are universally violent animals who hide under bridges waiting to kill you and all you love.

Oh, and Obama because of course.

Just in case you need a reminder, don’t forget to live in fear. That’s the lesson the world seems to be pushing these days. Oh, and if you’re an American muslim who’s concerned about terrorism, don’t bother trying to help.
