There Is No Such Thing As Bad Timing, There’s Only God’s Perfect Timing

When couples split or relationships slowly fade, the excuse is always:

“We met at the wrong time.”

But, there is no such thing as the “wrong time.”

Here is the simple, undeniable truth of life: God has a plan and your plan is not His plan.

No one ever meets at the wrong time, God brings people in and out of your life for a purpose. You may not see nor understand this purpose yet but one day all will become clear to you.

It’s incredibly hard for us, as humans, to accept that our stories are in God’s hands and as much as we may attempt to fight it; God’s plan is even better than the plan we have for ourselves… so why try to fight something that could be the greatest thing that has ever happened to you?

Our God is a loving God; He is not trying to ruin your life and He always has your best interest at heart. So yes, some doors may close, temporarily or permanently, but only because He has something greater planned for you.

Sometimes God has to break our hearts in order to save our souls and sometimes He has to close doors for us in order to get us to move on.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11

Surrender control to God and let Him take the wheel. He will never steer you wrong and if you are meant to be with that person, God will bring you back to each other. If not? God has someone even better in mind for you…

I know it’s hard to accept that the person you’re convinced is perfect for you is not actually your person. And yeah, heartbreak hurts, but why cry over someone who isn’t your soulmate and why try to prevent that person from finding their soulmate?

Have faith, greater things are on their way. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
