Maybe Not Today, But You Will Be Okay

By

I want you to know that you will be okay.

That the life you have now can change. That you have the power to make that change. Sometimes it may feel like you’re trapped and that everything is crumbling down.

It’s not. It’s a process. It’s a journey.

Know that at one point, you will get out of this rut. That you will come out of this victorious.

It’s hard to see the path when the road is muddy. When rain is constantly pouring down on you.

The path will clear and you will be okay. You will smile again. Your life will change. It will not stay this way.

There will be nights that seem endless. Days that seem like forever.

This will change. You will change.

Believe that one day, the process would’ve already taken its course and that you will be okay.

That every step you take will lead you to that moment that you’re already okay.

It may not be today. It may not be tomorrow.

But it will happen.

Take everything in small pieces. One day at a time. One breath at a time.

Life is a long marathon. There will be ups and downs. Sometimes the “down” part seems endless.

But that’s not true. It’s not endless. It will end.

And when it does, you will feel an overwhelming sense of relief.

That feeling will overtake you.

That feeling that will make you say, “Wow, I’m finally here.”

It will be breathtaking. It will be real.

Know that the journey is winding, and it will take it’s course. Allow it to happen. Take it in.

One day, you will look back and feel differently about today. You will feel that you have gone through a lot.

And that’s okay. You will be okay. It will be okay.

Just not today.
