My advice? If planning a wedding will turn you into a crazy monster, don’t plan a wedding. Here are some crazy bridezilla stories to make you run away before you even pop the question.
1.
I knew a woman who was a bridesmaid in a relatives wedding. She was married and had been trying to get pregnant for a while. Finally, her and her hubby got lucky and she conceived.
The bridezilla got furious and kicked her out of the wedding because she would be pregnant in the pictures. 3 months later, sadly, the woman miscarried. The bride called her with a response along the lines of “good, well now you can be back in the wedding.”

Sabotaged birth control to wrangle him into marrying her. She had not one, but TWO weddings. My uncle had to pay for both ceremonies because she insisted on having one in the US and one overseas. Picked out two very overpriced wedding dresses. While pregnant with her first child she freaked at me when I offered her some of my smoothie- it contained papaya and she was convinced I was intentionally trying to cause a miscarriage. I’ve always been close with my cousin- she didn’t like having me around him and gave me the stink eye on a regular basis. I wasn’t allowed to sit next to him. She gave birth not too long ago to a second child, a girl named Evangeline. No-one in the family is allowed to call her ‘Eva’ because that’s apparently the name of one of my cousin’s ex-girlfriends. She’s that insecure. Also fundie Christian to boot and convinced I’m going to hell.
TL;DR: my cousin’s bridezilla is now wifezilla.

At a wedding I went to the bride replaced a bridesmaid of hers at the last minute because she dyed her hair a slightly lighter brown the night before. Apparently it didn’t match the dress, which was bright pink.
