I’ll Always Give People With Good Intentions A Chance

A big reason why we get hurt is because we give the wrong people chances. We give chances to people we find attractive or think would be nice to show off to all our friends. What we don’t look enough into is what they intend to do with us and how they behave towards us.

Someone may be qualified and confident enough to get our attention, but everyone has their own reason as to why they want something. We’re so busy trying to solve our own problems that we overlook one simple question:

What are their intentions?

Why does someone want to go out with you?

Why does someone want you to notice them?

Why does someone seem to be out of character when they are around you?

The hard truth: not everyone has good intentions. Everyone ultimately makes decisions that they think will benefit them, which is okay. This is actually encouraged. Who wants to do anything that they feel won’t bring them happiness or peace? You have to do what’s best for you in the end.

But if anyone has interest in me and I believe they have good intentions, I will always give them a chance to prove themselves worthy of my time.

Everyone has something that drives them. For some people, they put their own selfish needs ahead of others around them. Some people believe that money, sex, materialistic items, or feeling superior and powerful are more important than the relationships in their lives. I think this occurs more in our modern world because all the wrong people are getting recognized.

What’s their purpose? Themselves.

To feel like they are on a higher platform than everyone else is more important to them than everything else. I’m done being surrounded by those people. I no longer want people in my life who feel so insecure about themselves that they feel the need to use me or put me down. No matter who you’re with, where you work, or what you do, people like that don’t have good intentions. They are feeding their own ego by making you feel inferior.

People with pure hearts are the ones I want to surround myself with. If they don’t have a lot of confidence in their abilities, that’s okay. I’d rather lose with winners than win with losers.

So if someone approaches me and wants to genuinely get to know me or help me out, then I will always accept. Don’t let your emotions or one bad day alter how you see others. The ones that want to show themselves off instead of everyone else are the ones with bad intentions. The ones that are more focused on who they are and how they treat others have good intentions and are always the better option. TC mark
