Electronic music duo Disclosure — who rose to fame last year, and recently made the news again with their collaboration with Mary J Blige, have a lot of great songs. But one that’s always stood out, with its yearning vocals and infectious beat, has been their single “Latch.” This acoustic cover, performed by Sam Smith himself, is nothing short of breathtaking. It reminds you how many beautiful lyrics and well-crafted melodies we gloss over when listening to a really good beat. And sometimes it’s just nice to listen.
