In a heartwarming turn of events, Art Bouvier, the owner of Papa Roux Cajun restaurant, saw a young man, Jhaqueil Reagan, walking 10 miles in the ice and snow to an interview for a minimum-wage job. Impressed by the young man’s determination and dismayed by the bleakness of his prospects (unable to afford a bus, walking a far distance in bad weather for the possibility of a job), the owner, known as Papa, offered him a job in his kitchen for twice the pay. The young man accepted, and a Facebook post by Papa went viral, leading to this video, which is also going viral on Reddit.
