I Want To Be Foolish With You

By

I don’t want to do life with anyone but you. I want to be foolish with you. I want to make mistakes and blow off responsibilities. I want to make you laugh until you can’t breath and I want to tell you all the silly things I’ve ever heard.

I want to call you when I am inspired and tell you the ins and outs of my day. I want to stay up late reading to you my favorite novels because there’s nothing more intimate and romantic to me than reading aloud to the person you love.

I want to motivate you to be the best man you can be and believe in you even when you don’t believe in yourself.

I want to comfort you in times of sorrow and be your rock when the ocean rises to shore. I want to never look at another man again because you are the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen. I want you to know you’re worth all the sacrifices I would be making to be with you because I believe in a great love. And I believe in it with you.

You’re the only person who has ever made me want to be selfless and you don’t even try. You don’t even realize how magnificent you are but I would to try and remind you of it every day.

In a perfect world, we would be together, in the same state, with goals that were similar to have our paths connect. Unfortunately, our lives have lead us to different places in different times and I don’t know if you’ll ever know how I truly feel. But I believe in the possibility of us. Maybe one day you’ll be able to counter all my compliments with one’s of your own.

You’ll say that you’ll do anything to be with me because I’m the best thing that’s ever happened to you and you know this luck only comes around once in a lifetime. You’ll hold on to me this time and won’t let me go. And that will be the greatest day of my life.
