Ariana Grande Changed The Name Of One Of Her Songs To ‘Pete Davidson’

Ariana Grande’s Sweetener is set to be released in a few weeks, but it’s already given us bangers like “No Tears Left To Cry” and “God Is A Woman.” Based on what we’ve heard, the rest of Grande’s post-Manchester Bombing album is sure to be a masterpiece.

But there’s one specific song that’s been garnering attention since Grande dropped the song list, and it’s only created more buzz. What was once called “Pete” — added soon after she started her relationship with fiancé Pete Davidson — has now been changed to “Pete Davidson.” Hm, wonder what it’s about.

When fans asked her why she decided on the change, Grande responded, “I like the way it looks.”

She continued, “I love his name and I love him. Music lasts forever. It’ll outlive any tattoo, any memory, any anything, even myself so I want my love for him and how I feel to be a part of that.”

Well, she’s not wrong. Anything she puts out now will be out there forever, whether she likes it or not. Not that I think she’ll regret it by any means. It’s no surprise the singer wants to cement her love immediately, especially after her whirlwind engagement that left the whole world in awe. Ariana’s gonna do what Ariana’s gonna do.

Sweetener is set to be released on August 17.
