Kanye West Revealed Kim K’s Strong Reaction To His Slavery Comments In His Newest EP

By

Kanye West has had a rough few months in the media spotlight, losing 9.2 million Twitter followers in 7 minutes after he tweeted a pic of himself in a MAGA hat and creating one of the most controversial hot takes of the year by claiming that slavery was a choice. He briefly touched on some of these topics in his new 7-track EP, titled “YE.”

Perhaps the most interesting revelation from Ye’s newest project was how his wife, Kim Kardashian, reacted to his Twitter meltdown in May, including the slavery comments:

“Wife calling screaming saying we’re about to lose it all I had to calm her down ‘cos she couldn’t breathe/I told her she could leave me now but she wouldn’t leave/This is what they mean for better or for worse huh?”

It’s no surprise that the media mogul reacted so badly to her husband’s comments, considering she’s spent the better part of her life curating and polishing the perfect social media brand. And to have the whole thing ripped away from her by her husband? It seems like a pretty cruel way to go. But Kardashian has also proved to be incredibly loyal to West, defending him publicly even when some thought it was unwise of her.

But his wife isn’t the only family-related matter West touched upon in his EP. The rapper also addressed his sister-in-law’s boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal: “All these thots on Christian Mingle/That’s what almost got Tristan single.”

“YE” also mentions West’s drug addiction, his struggle with bipolar disorder (which he calls his “superpower”), public figures such as Stormi Daniels and Russell Simmons. Surprisingly, Kanye doesn’t rap about Donald Trump at all.

“YE” has yet to hit any streaming sites (the songs were revealed at an album listening party in Wyoming), but just be patient — it’s only a matter of time.
