With the Royal Wedding just a day away (May 19, guys!), it’s truly all some people can talk about. It doesn’t help that, well, there sure is a lot to talk about, especially regarding Meghan Markle. Is it just me, or does she seem to be followed by a whole lot of drama?

Of course, it’s not her fault. The tabloids have been all over her family, especially her father, who decided he wouldn’t be attending the wedding because of “health issues” soon after it was revealed he’d set up pictures with paparazzi. It led many people to wonder: who’s going to walk Meghan Markle down the aisle if her father isn’t there?

Well, we finally have our answer, and it’s probably the sweetest alternative we could’ve asked for. A royal update from the Kensington Palace Twitter revealed that Harry’s father, Prince Charles, would give Markle away on her big day.

The update read:

Ms. Meghan Markle has asked His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales to accompany her down the aisle of the Quire of St. George’s Chapel on her Wedding Day. The Prince of Wales is pleased to be able to welcome Ms. Markle to The Royal Family in this way.

Honestly, I think this is the best choice Markle and her new family could’ve made. I’m so glad things are finally starting to fall into place for the new American princess! TC mark

This is me letting you go

If there’s one thing we all need to stop doing, it’s waiting around for someone else to show up and change our lives. Just be the person you’ve been waiting for.

At the end of the day, you have two choices in love – one is to accept someone just as they are and the other is to walk away.

We owe it to ourselves to live the greatest life that we’re capable of living, even if that means that we have to be alone for a very long time.
