Pete Davidson Opened Up About What It’s Like To Date With Borderline Personality Disorder

Comedian Pete Davidson has been making headlines ever since someone leaked his “casual” relationship with Ariana Grande to the press this week. Not that he or Grande have done anything to dispel the rumors — in fact, they’ve been seen commenting heart-eyes on each other’s Instagram posts, so that’s pretty much a done deal.

Naturally, he and Grande’s relationship has been met with skepticism, and not just because he began dating the pop superstar just a week after he broke up with his girlfriend of two years, Cazzie David. Many people wondered how Davidson was even able to date due to his Borderline Personality Disorder, which he opened up about to The Rolling Stone in September 2017.

While Davidson hasn’t spoken out much about his relationship with Grande, he did post several Instagram stories to dispel the misconceptions about dating and BPD.

Good for you for speaking out, Pete. Your words aren’t only defending yourself, but the thousands of other people who have been diagnosed with BPD. No matter how my coworkers feel about the romantic developments in your life, I’m glad you’ve found someone who makes you happy.
