Here’s What Harry And Meghan Said About Each Other At The Royal Wedding Reception

The Royal Wedding may be over, but we’re just now learning what went down at the two (yes, two) top secret receptions that went on later that day. Thanks to some insider information, we finally know that the royal couple’s first dance was to the Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Elton John performed for the guests, and everyone snacked on cotton candy and a rum-and-ginger drink called “When Harry Met Meghan.”

But that’s not even the best part. Both Harry and Meghan gave speeches during the first reception, ultimately professing their undying love for one another.

Harry reportedly praised Meghan in front of their 600 guests for navigating everyone with grace (presumably referring to her family drama just days before the wedding), adding, “We make such a great team.”

Harry also received loud cheers every time he referred to Meghan as “my wife” and won the crowd over when he told her, “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Meghan then reportedly broke tradition by giving her own speech, taking the time to thank her new family for welcoming her, especially Prince Charles, who walked her down the aisle and accompanied her mother at the wedding.

“I have found my prince,” she allegedly told her guests.

One wedding guest, Peter Fearnhead, told The Telegraph that Harry was completely charming about Meghan, adding, “”They are so clearly in love. We all had a tear in our eye.”
