Let’s be honest here: on an everyday basis, work can be pretty drab, especially if you have a 9-to-5 job where your duties are basically the same every day. And as petty as office drama can be, sometimes it’s the only way to shake up an otherwise boring day.
So it’s really no surprise that when Twitter user Zak Toscani‘s co-worker got his lunch mysteriously stolen from the shared fridge, it became a huge whodunnit that got nearly everyone in the office involved. I mean, what better way to spend a work day?
Let’s just say it was dra-muhhhh.
But you have to admit, the details are pretty bizarre…
And it only gets better from there.
And let’s just say the culprit definitely doesn’t seem to know that EVERYONE KNOWS IT’S HER.
And Zak, being the comedic gem he is, just wants to escalate the situation. (But honestly, can you blame him? Work can be so BORING.)
Unfortunately, we don’t get the conclusion we deserve, but at least the story was gripping as it was.
While we may not know exactly the motivations behind what happened, we definitely have our theories…
It's super obvious lol. They are having something that passive aggressiveness is not normal lol.

Okay, is it just me or does this play out like a particularly quirky comedy? Because I can totally imagine a movie a la Office Space but, you know, with a revenge plot.
Why am I all into this like it’s a movie.

Even people who actually make movies agreed.
I love this ending. I don't need to know why she did it, I enjoyed the ride.
Thanks for today.

So did the fried shrimp story get optioned by Hollywood yet? Can it be directed by David Fincher?

Keep an eye out for The Lunch Thief, which will someday inevitably be in theaters near you.
