Arie Luyendyk Jr. Will Dump ‘The Bachelor’ Winner To Date His Runner-Up In This Week’s Dramatic Finale

By

If you’ve thought this season of The Bachelor was particularly boring, you’ll be in for a nice surprise in this week’s finale. Apparently there’s going to be a lot of drama between Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his newly-minted fiancée — or should we say ex-fiancée?

Apparently Arie is going to make one of the biggest mistakes of his life in the next and last episode of season 22 of The Bachelor. He’s narrowed it down from 29 women to two — Becca Kufrin and Lauren Burnham — but apparently the choice isn’t as obvious to him as it should be.

A show insider told Us Weekly that Arie had a change of heart after he proposed to the show’s winner — the “safe” option — and immediately broke off their engagement to pursue his runner-up. Apparently the entire camera crew came with him as he went to her home to ask beg to have her back. Let’s be real — how is anyone supposed to say no to a heartfelt confession and a bunch of cameras being jammed into their face?

This isn’t any real surprise for Bachelor fans who have been watching Arie go back and forth between several of the women. In the preview for the finale, he can’t seem to make up about who he loves. In fact, he claims he’s in love with both women, making the choice harder than he ever imagined.

Don’t worry, the insider didn’t reveal who the winner of this season will be — or which woman he’ll leave her for — s0 there’s still definitely a reason to tune in this week. Be sure to grab some popcorn and a drink — it looks like this is going to be something you don’t want to miss.
