This Guy Accidentally Swiped Left On The Girl Of His Dreams, So He Emailed Everyone At School With The Same Name To Find Her

We’ve all done it before: you’re swiping through Tinder, clicking on pictures and reading through bios when you finally come across someone you think might be The One (or something). You examine their profile, decide they’re perfect, and make up your mind: you’re going to swipe right on this person. Except sometimes you make a grave mistake and accidentally swipe left, and you lose that perfect person forever.

Okay, so maybe it’s not as dramatic as I make it sound — swiping left on the wrong person might hurt a little bit, but it’s a pretty easy faux pas to recover from. But when Hayden from Missouri State accidentally swiped left on the girl of his dreams, he wasn’t willing to throw in the towel and take the L. Instead, he emailed every girl at his university with the name “Claudia” in hopes of finding his soulmate some other way.

Seriously, that’s dedication. Just read the email, which shows he basically memorized her profile and wasn’t about to let her go so easily.

It’s actually a pretty good approach, if you ask me. Not too aggressive, not to creepy, and just funny enough that someone might actually respond back.

And hey, it worked! Not only did Claudia did end up seeing Hayden’s email, but her tweet about the whole thing ended up going viral — big time.

It turns out it wasn’t so hard for Hayden to find his Claudia after all.

(Because trust me, he was VERY invested.)

Unfortunately, we still don’t know how this story ends, because Claudia and Hayden have been suspiciously quiet about the subject.

But hey, according to some people’s (incredibly great) stalking skills, it looks like the two are on good terms.

It’s a good sign! But still, Claudia, Hayden, please. Just tell us whether she swiped right or not. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
