People In France Are Literally Rioting Over Discounted Nutella Prices And TBH I Don’t Blame Them

Nutella lovers will love this: a French market sold Nutella for 70% off and people in the country literally rioted over it. Why? Because everyone wants a bite of that chocolaty hazelnut goodness.

Supermarket chain Intermarché dropped their Nutella prices from $5.85 to $1.75 and people from all over the country came rushing into their stores to get a jar while they were still there. I have a feeling no one was expecting the madness that ensued.

I cannot make this shit up, guys. This is a real thing that actually happened today.

According to BBC, one customer told the media, “They are like animals. A woman had her hair pulled, an elderly lady took a box on her head, another had a bloody hand.”

Apparently, customers gutted the store of Nutella within 15 minutes and even gave one customer a black eye. And this was literally all over some chocolate hazelnut spread.

But you know what? I can’t really blame anyone. That stuff is good, and if I could stock my house with a hundred jars of it, I definitely would.
