Kendall Jenner Clapped Back At The Haters Who Shamed Her For Having Acne With Positivity

As the great Hannah Montana once said, “Nobody’s perfect.” Apparently that doesn’t just apply to us normies but to celebrities, too. Who would have guessed?

It can be kind of easy to forget that celebrities and models are, well, people. That’s probably why it’s so easy to criticize them and nitpick them for tiny things, like gray hair (it’s natural!) or, in Kendall Jenner’s case, acne.

People were getting pretty judgmental about some blemishes on Jenner’s face during the Golden Globes red carpet and took to Twitter to make fun of the model.

Other people were quick to defend Jenner because, come on, it’s acne. It’s normal, and some people really can’t help whether or not they get it. Is it really that bad of a thing?

But it was Kendall’s response that really got the Internet going:

Yes, girl!

Look, I’m not a huge Jenner fan, mostly because, well, I just don’t have much of an opinion on her at all. She’s fine, I guess. But she brings up a wonderful point, which is this: why let a little blemish change how you live your life? Why would she let a little acne ruin a once in a lifetime chance to attend the Golden Globes?

As a society, we get so caught up in our physical beauty that we let it dictate what we decide to do on a day-to-day basis. But in the words of Kendall Jenner, “never let that shit stop you!” Because at the end of the day, we’re not going to remember if we had a little acne or if we weren’t looking the best, we’re going to remember whether or not we let ourselves live our lives.
