Carrie Fisher was and forever will be a total blessing to this Earth. The Star Wars actress has been a role model for women and girls since the franchise launched its first movie, but she’s continued to stay in our hearts just for being the amazing human being she is.

As Hollywood begins to speak up about sexual harassment and assault in the industry, it’s brought forth an unheard story about Princess Leia herself. Heather Ross, a longtime friend of the late actress, reminisced about how Fisher stuck up for her after she was sexually assaulted by a Oscar-winning Hollywood producer.

Ross told Tucson, Ariz.’s 94.9 Mix FM that Fisher went to the producer’s office to personally deliver him a little present in a Tiffany’s box wrapped in a white bow. But what was inside wasn’t quite as glamorous.

“It was a cow tongue from [LA haunt] Jerry’s Famous Deli with a note that said, ‘If you ever touch my darling Heather or any other woman again, the next delivery will be something of yours in a much smaller box,’” Ross explained.

It’s official: we all need a friend like Carrie Fisher. In fact, every person in the world needs a Carrie Fisher in their life to stand up for them in situations where they don’t feel comfortable doing so. Basically, we just need Carrie Fisher back. Preferably multiples. TC mark

This is me letting you go

If there’s one thing we all need to stop doing, it’s waiting around for someone else to show up and change our lives. Just be the person you’ve been waiting for.

At the end of the day, you have two choices in love – one is to accept someone just as they are and the other is to walk away.

We owe it to ourselves to live the greatest life that we’re capable of living, even if that means that we have to be alone for a very long time.

“Everyone could use a book like this at some point in their life.” – Heather
