Here’s Why Steve Bannon Will Probably Be The Next In The Trump Administration To Go

By

Honestly, at this point, we’re all just betting on who will be the next in the Trump administration to “resign”/get fired. The White House has had a revolving door of deplorable and quirky (read: easy to make fun of) characters; as soon as one is brought in, another is ushered out. So, who’s next? We have our guess.

From the very beginning, Steve Bannon has been a controversial figure in Trump’s cabinet. When he was chosen as the chief strategist, people were understandably outraged — after all, Bannon was best known as executive chair of Brietbart News, an alt-right publication. He was well-known in the world of white supremacy and neo-Nazism, so it’s not surprise people wanted him out of the White House immediately. But Trump and Bannon seemingly had a good relationship (some even speculated that Bannon was behind most of Trump’s decisions), so it didn’t seem like an immediate possibility.

But as of this weekend, things have changed. After Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rally that turned deadly fast, Trump has received increasing pressure to remove Bannon from his cabinet. And though Trump isn’t well known for listening to what others have to say (well, except for alt-right white supremacists, maybe), this time, it might actually work.

You see, after Charlottesville and Trump’s reluctance to renounce Nazis for their actions, his approval rating plummeted to an all time low. Yep, just when we thought everyone hated Trump as much as they could’ve, he changed up the game by proving himself a coward and somehow made himself even more dislikable. It’s amazing, really.

Many people believe Bannon’s behind Trump’s “both sides” speech he gave about Charlottesville, and that he encouraged Trump not to anger a very active part of his fan base. But more than that, people are mostly still pissed that someone who’s known for being a white nationalist is actually playing such a large role in our country’s government. And now that Nazis have killed three people just this weekend, people aren’t playing around anymore — they want Bannon out, for real this time.

“Americans deserve to know that white nationalists, white supremacists, and neo-Nazis are not in a position to influence U.S. policy,” said a letter written by the heads of the black, Hispanic, Asian and progressive caucuses. “In this time of tumult in our country, Americans deserve a leader that will bring us all together and denounce those who seek to tear us apart.”

So, will Trump give in? Probably. After all, as I mentioned before, his approval rating is low and even he knows he has to do something to get people to like him again. In fact, some sources believe Bannon may be gone by the end of the week, which, thank god.

So, are we gonna take bets on who will be next?
