Wendy’s Finally Gave This Man Free Nuggets After He Broke The World Record For The Most Retweets Ever

BREAKING NEWS: THE NUGGET MAN GOT HIS NUGGETS.

I’m sure you’ve all heard the story of the guy who tweeted at Wendy’s in hopes of some free nuggets. After the fast food chain told him he needed 18 million retweets to achieve his goal, Carter Wilkerson wasn’t deterred — and his perseverance finally paid off.

Wilkerson didn’t quite make his goal, but his call-to-action did become the most retweeted tweet ever, beating out Ellen’s celebrity selfie from the 2014 Oscars.

And apparently, that was enough for Wendy’s to finally give in.

Wendy’s not only gave him free nuggets for a year but also awarded him with $100,000 to go toward the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

And Carter is definitely set for life — or, at least, for a year.

It’s certainly been a crazy ride, that’s for sure.

You heard it here first, kids: you’re witnessing history firsthand. If this isn’t a success story, then I don’t know what is.
