Most of us have been there: you’ve only got a few bucks in your bank account, you’ve been eating the same thing for over a week straight and you’ve been re-using all your outfits because you can’t even afford to do laundry. That’s right, fam — you’re broke as hell.
So what do you do? How do you manage to survive when surviving seems so impossible? Twitter user @SheHatesJacoby decided to ask his followers for their stories, and while I’d like to say the answers are sad, in reality, they’re mostly just super #relatable.
Some people had to make some major sacrifices.

Some people had to get a little creative. You do what you gotta do, I guess?
Went to jack in the box for my lunch break, got 2 tacos for .99c except I only had .85 c so I dropped some change handing it over

But these stories did prove one thing: there are still good people in the world.

If you’ve made it past the time in your life where you are broke, hopefully you’ll remember how hard it was and help someone out in need. We could all use a little kindness right now.
