I make a lot of dirty jokes for someone who’s never done more with men than hug them, and sometimes I wonder if it’s a coping mechanism, or an attempt to distract from the “NEVER BEEN KISSED” sign I’m afraid hovers over my head.

I agonized over how to ask my parents to help me with this. I couldn’t do it without them.
