“Pu$$y” – Iggy Azalea
When it comes to lyrics, this supermodel-esk Australian hip hop artist has no lack of confidence. Pu$$y, the scandalous single which brought Iggy to fame, remains center-stage in her musical career. With lyrics such as “Iggy Iggy pussy illy/ Wetter than the Amazon/ Taste this kitty” she sets herself apart from other female hip hop artists by unambiguously stating the explicit nature of her demands.
“I Will” – Danny Brown
Danny Brown, described by MTV as “one of rap’s most unique figures in recent memory”, takes on (with no hesitation) the subject of female cunnilingus. “What he won’t do, bitch, I will,” makes women everywhere think twice about their sex lives.
“Birthday Cake” – Rihanna
One minute and eighteen seconds of sexually-charged content, Birthday Cake was leaked onto the internet and then created a storm. Possibly inspired by Jeremih’s “Birthday Sex,” Rihanna uses not-so-subtle metaphors to advocate for spontaneous sex: “It’s not even my birthday/ But he wanna lick the icing off.”
“My Vag” – Awkwafina
The song that put this Asian female rapper on the map – Awkwafina’s comedic lyrical style is unparalleled by anyone else. A parody of Mickey Avalon’s “My Dick,” Awkwafina’s lyrics remain sharp and provide a witty comment on her vagina, comparing it to “an operatic ballad,” continuing with “yo vag like grandpa’s cabbage.” The video is worth checking out too.
“My Neck, My Back” – Khia
Possibly still one of my favorite songs to dance to – this hit from the early 2000’s is classified by the simple repeating rhymes “my neck, my back, lick my pussy and my crack.” What is probably Khia’s best work, and once featured on Billboard Hot 100, is catchy, easy to sing along to, and pussy-proud.
