18. Happy people are not the ones who have it all and do not suffer.
You have to give yourself enough room to grow into who you are and then not be so attached to it that you won’t let yourself become who you’re going to be.
I want you to be happy. I want you to truly do and be whatever you want. I want respect and equality to be the status quo. I don’t want there to be any more glass ceilings for you to have to break through.
Because real creation isn’t just in what we mindlessly do and think about, it’s what we feel and embrace and perpetuate with all of our senses.

If your peace and acceptance is contingent on someone else, and if your hope is external, you do not really have any of those things.
The truth inside you will win out eventually. Or it will drive you mad. Your truth isn’t a passing thought or feeling that will just dissipate one day. You won’t get over what’s really meant for you.
