This Is What Kind Of Mom You’ll Be, Based On Your Zodiac Sign

@chanelpluscat

Aries

(March 21st to April 19th)

The attentive mom.

You will be sure that your kids’ lunches are packed, their homework is done and they’re never late for a soccer practice. You will be the kind of mom who takes their kids to museums on the weekend, and teaches them how to cross-stitch in your spare time. You’re kind of the perfect mom, without any of the pretentiousness, because you don’t even know how amazing you are.

Taurus

(April 20th to May 21st)

The professional photoshoot mom.

You are the mom who has photoshoots with your kids scheduled at regular intervals, and to commemorate major life events (like half birthdays and seasons changing). You not only want to ensure that your children remember their youth in matching chevron outfits, but that the whole world is aware of how beautiful your kids are, thanks to an expensive camera and a little filtering (seriously, your kids probably are really adorable and you have every right to want to show them off).

Gemini

(May 22nd to June 21st)

You are the fun mom.

Aside from the fact that you’re also kind of the responsible mom (a fact that confuses even you) you’re definitely the fun mom. You’re the mom who is playing Disney movies and encouraging cousin sleepovers, taking your kids to the park and letting them try new foods. You’re the mom that is down for anything, the mom that’s more like a BFF than a parent (but you do actually parent when it’s necessary, of course).

Cancer

(June 22nd to July 22nd)

You are the sweet, BFF mom.

You’re always “good guy” when it comes to parenting, and your approach to getting your kids to behave is just getting them to like you so much that they would never want to disappoint you or go behind your back. You are the über loving mom, the mom who is obsessed with their kids and would do anything for them. You’re the kind of mom that is not only BFFs with their kids when they get older, but also BFFs with all of their friends, too.

Leo

(July 23rd to August 22nd)

You’re the proud mom.

You take every opportunity you can to show the world how accomplished your kids are, and share photos of whatever cool thing they’re doing next. You’re the mom with the “my child is an honor student” bumper sticker on your car, and you’re not going to apologize for being so proud of the prodigies you created.

Virgo

(August 23rd to September 22nd)

You’re the PTA mom.

You’re the super involved mom, the one who volunteers to go on school trips and wants to know about the gossip that was discussed at lunchtime. You see yourself as more of a mentor than you do a controlling parent figure, and this honestly serves your kids well. More than anything, you want to encourage your kids to be exactly who they are, and not who the world wants to condition them to be. Your kids adore you for this, and that’s because you treat them like an asset, not a burden, to your life.

Libra

(September 23rd to October 22nd)

You’re the chill mom.

Surprisingly, you’re the kind of mom who just wants to let their kids be their beautiful selves. You’re kind of lazy, and this definitely comes out when your children are being super demanding. It’s not that you don’t care that they’re dirty or that the dishes aren’t done, it’s just that you don’t think it’s realistic to expect everything to be perfect all the time. If this seems like an extreme departure from your usual state of mind (it is) it’s just because kids are a ton of work and the term “lazy Libra” doesn’t come from nowhere.

Scorpio

(October 23rd to November 22nd)

You’re the cool mom.

You are the kind of mom who would wear aviators to pick their kids up from school and regularly take them to hangout at super adult places (like, the kid-friendly bar down the street) and make them just as chill as you are. However, you can just as easily be “claws out mama bear” if some punk is messing with your babe on the playground. Hell hath no fury like a Scorpio mother slightly aggravated.

Sagittarius

(November 23rd to December 21st)

You’re the adventure mom.

You’re strapping your kid to your chest with a piece of cloth and taking them hiking, camping, or on a 3 month bender in Peru. You want your kid to be well-balanced and worldly, you want them to be educated and self-aware. The best way to do this, you assume, is to get them out in the world at a young age, and let ’em get their toes wet.

Capricorn

(December 22nd to January 20th)

You’re the classic mom.

If anybody is going to fit into the mold of a “classic” parent, it’s definitely you. You cook for your kids because you love to, you’re the kind of person who wants to be there to pick them up from school, and read them a book before bed. Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom or not is totally irrelevant, you’re going to be a quintessentially awesome parent, and you kind of know it.

Aquarius

(January 21st to February 18th)

You’re the working mom.

You’re not going to let children hold you back from accomplishing your dreams, and that’s totally respectable. You’re still an amazing parent, but you’re just not going to let your obligations to your family deter you from continuing to follow your dreams. You’re the kind of mom that comes into your kid’s class to speak about your job, and who proves that you can have it all, if you want it badly enough.

Pisces

(February 19th to March 20th)

You’re the hippie mom.

Whether or not you’re an actual hippie, you want your kids to be as expressive and spiritual as possible. You want to teach them emotional intelligence – you see the way children perceive the world as being an insightful asset. You want your kids to soak up every minute of their childhood, and play and explore in whatever ways they choose. You’re the kind of mom who is super concerned with how your kids feel, and this is refreshing in our society. You want them to be well-rounded and cared for emotionally. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
