NBC LA is streaming video of police chasing a large storage truck that the driver has allegedly stolen. The pursuit started around 1:30 PM (although NBC LA has posted in err that it started at 1:30 AM) when the driver reportedly tried to run over a police officer in Ontario. He has avoided several spike strips since, and taken the chase through a crowded gas station lot. As I write this the chase is nearing Escondido, San Diego, and the US-Mexico border.
