My mind is ripped in two
My emotions jumbled
Tangled
I’m waiting for my rescue
Sick
My stomach twists, turns
The pit of my being jumping
Lurching
I can’t stop the churns
Scared
Doubt hijacks my mind
Worry clogs my throat
Choking
But I can’t leave this behind
Acceptance
The feeling of letting go
My heart feeling whole
Fulfilled
It wouldn’t be right if I said no
These are the phases of love
My love
A myriad of befuddling emotions
Tangling my subconscious
Quickening my heart
It’s not you I’m afraid of
Stranger in the shadows
But how you make me feel
Strange
Unhinged
Your voice
Your touch
Your kiss
Bewitching
It’s no secret what you do to me
I would be a fool to push this away
This thrill
Arousing
A guilty pleasure
Turned to habit
I love you
Boldly
There’s no denying now
