The Damn Feeling When You Can’t Be With Someone Forever

By

The odd feeling when the man you fell in love with has come to the realization that he doesn’t love you anymore and decided to reshape those memories you both had with someone else.

The damn stabbing pain in your heart is unbearable.

The damn feeling when you think that you can’t stay with him forever, it is because someone else will.

The damn feeling when you think they will grow old together and only in death will they part.

The damn feeling when you think they go to bed together, losing themselves in their passion for each other, with her head on his chest, her arm thrown across his stomach and his arm around her neck, smelling the feminine scent of her. The way he plays with her rumpled silky black hair, the way he used to do when you were together.

The damn feeling when you think of him pinning her down in bed. His hands holding her arms above her head. His legs locking hers, grinning down at her, leaving her helpless as he moves slowly against her, driving her crazy with passion, the way he used to do when you were together.

The damn feeling when you think of him kissing her with all the shattering tenderness and the desire begins to roar through her entire body, making her moan for him, the way he used to do when you were together.

The damn feeling when you think of him gently biting the edge of her neck and shoulders that drives her crazy with helpless yearning, the way he used to do when you were together.

The damn feeling when you think they wake up in the morning, trailing his hands along her thighs and instantly turn her on, the way he used to do when you were together.

The damn feeling when you think of them, waking up each morning smelling their brew black coffee while listening at the tweeting of the small birds and staring at the mark of brilliant reds and oranges below the horizon.

And this is the problem when a heart has a memory, somewhere in time, in a vast lingering landscape of the mind. You don’t have any other choice but to grow in the pain that he left in you.
