Just So You Know, It’s Okay To Be Heartbroken

By

I know you’re hurt.

I know you’re broken into bits and pieces.

I know you’re empty.

It’s okay to give yourself the permission to shed tears, to bless your heart with the gift of healing because tears will bring you relief, comfort and ease the heaviness deep in your heart.

It’s okay to give yourself the permission to cry out loud, to release the stabbing pain in your heart. Feel the ugly sobs stirring down, churning around in you and threatening to lurch out of you uncontrollably. And everything’s going to be okay. Because just like the deluge tears from heaven when it’s pouring down to earth. You know that the sun will shine after the storm.

It’s okay to give yourself the permission to keep in touch with your emotions every now and then. When you release that high-pitched cry of wrenching loneliness and grief, you feel better.

It’s okay not to apologize when your tears are falling down, it is because tears are the beautiful rainfalls when the inner storm do not seem to subside. They might not run deep but that’s what you need and it’s enough to lessen the pain you feel inside.

It’s okay to give yourself the permission to feel the heartbreaking pain and weep when the situation feels infuriatingly vague or absolutely irrepressible because tears will always ease the pain of a broken heart.

It’s okay to give yourself the permission to let go and move on to the next chapter of life. Bring those wonderful memories and experience with you that would teach and help you to mold your future with genuine happiness. Whatever lies ahead of you, always open your heart and follow where it leads you.

Heartbreak feels like it’s the end of the world. You feel so arid in the pit of your soul. Yes, it’s always difficult. Nothing is ever easy.

But remind yourself that you are given a wonderful gift. And that’s a beautiful and amazing life to live.

Live a beautiful life and always, always love yourself.
