Would It Be Naive Of Me To Say That She’s The Love Of My Life?

Would it be naive of me to say that she’s the love of my life?
People make a mockery saying I’m too young to know what love is
So tell me, tell me how you feel, if love can be aptly described

Would it be naive of me to say that she’s the love of my life?
I look at her and I feel like she’s the most beautiful thing in the world
She catches me looking at other girls and I would laugh, “pretty girl”
She would pout but she doesn’t see me look at her and think, “but you’re the prettiest”.

That amazing girl could be anything she wants to be and more
She has a wide smile and dark brown eyes
She has a beautiful mind and brilliant thoughts
She sings, she acts, she dances, she writes
And that amazing girl could be anything she wants to be and more (except a photographer)

We talk, we talk endlessly about everything and nothing, we could go on for hours
We write, we write about each other and we send letters, emails and text messages
We laugh, we laugh at each other’s strange sense of humor.
She laughs at my kissing and I laugh at the way she says, “I’m just so scared okay”
We love, we have that connection that never really goes away,
we get the warm and fuzzy feels around each other and we can’t stand sitting across from each other at a table.

Would it be naive of me to say that she’s the love of my life?
I’ve held her in my arms on amazing days
And I’ve held her in my arms when she was falling apart
I have grown to love all the different shades of her; the multi colors she doesn’t want to burden me with, I see a girl more dazzling than a rainbow.

Would it be naive of me to say that she’s the love of my life?
I imagined her walking down the aisle in a wedding dress, that quirky look on her face
There’s a chance she would fall but she’d just laugh it off
She laughs and I fall in love all over again.  TC mark
