Read This If Someone Is Making You Feel Like Burden

One thing that is always certain in life is that you will get hurt.

When we let people into our lives, we are opening up to the possibility of getting hurt. We are giving people the chance to know us so well that they will be able to hurt us so easily.

It is almost guaranteed that those we love will hurt us.

Sometimes, people will not understand you. People will not understand your experiences. People will not understand your mental illness. People will love you, but that love will not always be enough.

Because you are a human being, you have needs. Everyone has needs, and you are not a burden for asking for what you need.

This world is so hard to live in. Days can feel impossible to get through, and it is completely normal to want someone to help you live through them.

You are not a burden for having problems.

You are not a burden for struggling.

You are not a burden for asking for help.

You are not a burden because your anxiety or depression is telling you that you are.

You are not a burden for making mistakes.

You are not a burden.

When our thoughts take over, they can convince us our problems are too overwhelming to share. Our thoughts can convince us we can’t or shouldn’t ask for help.

Our minds like to play tricks on us. Our minds like to feed us lies, even after we are full.

Sometimes, people are selfish. Just because someone thinks you are a burden does not mean they are right. No one is right all of the time, not even the people we love.

You are struggling, and what you are asking for is simple: love.

No matter what you do or what you feel, you always will be deserving of love.

You are not a burden. You are a fighter, constantly battling a mind that tells you no one loves you. That you are too much for people to handle. That you are selfish, at best.

You are not a burden. You are a human being, completely deserving of love.
