  1. When referring to make-up, pet clothes, pink, or Black Eyed Peas, less is more.
  2. When referring to free samples, prescription pills, or sleep, less is less.
  3. Stop over-thinking. It leads to anxiety and a bad day at the park.
  4. People aren’t against you. They are for themselves.
  5. I’ve learned to spare people my F.R.I.E.N.D.S. trivia. They don’t care.
  6. Guys don’t appreciate high fashion. They appreciate clothes that compliment your body.
  7. People will forget what you said and what you did, but they won’t forget how you made them feel.
  8. Drink more water. Drink less alcohol.
  9. Don’t trust people who are laying down in their Facebook profile pictures.
  10. Give people the benefit of the doubt. Most people mean well. Most people want to be better.
  11. Don’t pick the pimple.
  12. We judge others when we don’t understand.
  13. Sometimes it’s better to be selfish. When you take care of yourself, you can take care of others.
  14. Guys mean what they say, not something else.
  15. Friends come and go. Let them.
  16. High school drama never really goes away.
  17. Spending time alone is good for your sanity.
  18. If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place.
  19. Confidence is silent. Insecurities are loud.
  20. You need to beat resistance to be happy. Work hard.
  21. It is important to stay close to anything that makes you glad you are alive. Take your pleasure seriously.
