New year. New you.
The New Year gives you hope to press reset on your life, and start fresh. It is an opportunity to be whoever you have always wanted to be. It is a chance to change everything you did not like about yourself, and be exactly who you have always wanted to become.
Many of us make resolutions to start the new chapter in our lives; we are extremely motivated as the year begins, but sometimes we tend to slow down. So here is a little push to stick to your resolutions, with some important things to remember, when you wonder if you should give up.
Aries: One change leads to another.
(March 21st to April 19th)
One little change could lead to another good one. Maybe going to the gym will motivate you to eat better or quit smoking. Aries signs like to treat themselves, which is good, but remember to also stick to your resolutions this year – learn to save for a rainy day, you never know when you might need some unexpected funds.
Taurus: Make the change a gradual one.
(April 20th to May 21st)
You hate change and prefer to stick to your same routine because you are scared to take a risk. This year to stick to your resolution, take the leap of faith with a little caution, but learn to slowly get more comfortable in your new goals. Don’t force it on yourself.
Gemini: Be encouraged by family and friends.
(May 22nd to June 21st)
You need to chill out, and one of the best ways to do that is by doing yoga or going to the gym. Tell your family and friends about your resolution so their encouragement can push you to make it there. Focus on getting positive attention from family and friends by sharing your goals.
Cancer: Get some support.
(June 22nd to July 22nd)
You need to stop saving every paper you wrote in high school and college, and make room for new things in your life. It is hard to get rid of what is familiar, so be sure to get support from others to be able to add new things in life. You can find safety and comfort at home; it is okay to ask for help, and that will help you stick to your new resolutions.
Leo: Review your progress.
(July 23rd to August 22nd)
You always take pride in how you look, which is great, but try to focus on your inner self progress. Keep an eye on how your resolutions are going, and stay organized, because you can be more beautiful and confident on the inside as you are on the outside if you stick to your resolutions.
Virgo: Don’t beat yourself up about it.
(August 23rd to September 22nd)
You are too practical and never try new scary things because you want to be perfect all the time. Make this a year to try something new. Mellow out a bit on the preaching. For your new year’s resolution, it’s okay that you won’t succeed the moment you make a resolution. Instead of giving up, get up and get on it again.
Libra: Be kind to yourself.
(September 23rd to October 22nd)
You have to make the most of the day, so get up early and stop being lazy. Focus on the little things. Be nicer to others, and you’ll be nicer to yourself, which in turn will make it a lot easier to stick to your resolutions.
Scorpio: Focus on positive language instead of negative requirements.
(October 23rd to November 22nd)
You tend to get jealous easily and also need your alone time, but this year, make it a point to mingle. With your resolutions, use positive reinforcement instead of punishing yourself for not achieving something ASAP. Put envy on the back burner; you are not completing with anyone but yourself. Be supportive of yourself, and you can get it done.
Sagittarius: Focus on one thing at a time.
(November 23rd to December 21st)
You want to start something and just get it done, we all do. But instead of rushing to reach your goal, focus on the meticulous details of your goal that will help you stick to your new year’s resolutions. It is the focus on the little details of something that helps you succeed.
Capricorn: Break up your goals.
(December 22nd to January 20th)
You plan too much and try to do everything at once and be excellent at it all. Being a planner is great, but try being a little more spontaneous. Be patient and start small to stick to your goals. If you want to lose twenty pounds, start with five first. Let things slowly unravel instead of expecting everything to happen in one day.
Aquarius: Be realistic.
(January 21st to February 18th)
You tend to live in your little world, but this year, practice being present in the moment, in the now where everyone else is as well. Give yourself time to stick to your resolutions, be in real time in the real world.
Pisces: Celebrate your progress.
(February 19th to March 20th)
You are sensitive and you have feelings, so does everyone else. All of us had some bad moments in 2016, but to stick to your new year’s resolutions anyway: live a little and learn to laugh at life’s little misfortunes. Celebrate little victories, on the way to success.
