A teacher once caught me reading. At the end of her class, she asked to see me at the teachers’ room. She said to me, “These novels will get you nowhere, but my lesson will turn you into a successful woman in the future. I looked the other way because failure is a choice, and apparently that is what you’ve chosen.”
The challenges associated with the war are quite predictable–like the lack of power for instance, and having to ignore people with sick political views and the fact that the war has turned many either into blind sheep or into hypocrites who want the war to last forever so they can keep making big bucks as long as they could.
If a relationship meant tears, then no need for a relationship in the first place.
