Here’s To Choosing You

By

You’ve picked yourself up and you’ve made the conscious effort to keep on keeping on, because no matter how hard life can get, there is always a silver lining to each dark cloud, just like there is a sunrise after a long, lonely night.

Things do turn around, and once you’re able to stop looking at all the things that have gone wrong or all the plans that didn’t work out, you make space to see all the things that went right and the beautiful things that still lie ahead for you.

Rather than sit around and wait for things to get better or rough waters to smooth out, make the conscious effort to sail towards your happiness and what serves your highest good.

Sometimes the journey towards happiness and a life of abundance is not an easy one, and it requires us to be patient and persistent in our thought process. But we need to remember that we all can reach our destination and our purpose in life.

Remember that we all have a purpose in this life, and we all are deserving of happiness and love. It’s up to us to be open to these abundances and embrace them unconditionally. So learn to move on from situations that chain you down or relationships that hurt your soul more than they heal your heart, but most importantly, learn to let go of the perfect idea of “this is how it should be” or “this is where I need to be in life.”

The journey you are on is your journey, and you are where you need to be—one step at a time, one wave at a time. We can never change the past or predict the future, but what we can do is control our actions and our reactions to situations. We can choose where we want to spend our time and energy, and most importantly, we can choose whom we want to spend our time and energy on.

You have the free will and the choice within you to act with grace and respect and gratitude towards others, and more importantly, towards yourself.

You always have the choice, and you are free to choose again and again, so I dare you to choose yourself this time and set sail towards your happiness.
