God doesn’t care about what we carry on the outside, he doesn’t care what we had going on in our past. As long as He has our hearts, that’s all that matters.

See, this life of single womanhood and single motherhood combined is a tough one. And with all the love and attention my beautiful son gives me, it actually still gets very lonely.

Let’s move forward, let’s renew, let’s feel beautiful (without being told).

Motherhood changed my life, but it did not end it. I think we, as mothers, need to remind ourselves of this more often.
