One Day, It Will All Make Sense

By

One day, it will make sense.

You’ll realize why some things didn’t work out.

Why you have to go through what you’ve been through.

Why you need to break and get hurt.

Why you have to fall and crash.

Why you have to wait.

One day, it will make sense.

Why some things need to come to an end.

Why you have to let go. Why they left you.

Someday, it will make sense.

Why it’s easy for them to give up on you and left you hanging.

Why no matter what you do, it will never be enough for them.

One day, it will all make sense and you’ll realize that everything happens for a reason.

You will remember the nights when you were laying in bed and tears won’t seem to stop, just like a river that keeps on flowing, and realize those are the same nights that made you a wiser person. The nights that taught you not to settle to anything less than you deserve.

Those are same the nights that lead you to all the romantic date nights with your special someone.

The same nights that lead you to all the crazy moments spent with your best friend.

Moments that brought you laughter with tears in your eyes and joy in your heart.

And one day you’ll realize that the hurt you felt when you were young at 19, is necessary to have that beautiful moment in Maldives at 23, celebrating your first year anniversary with the love of your life as a couple.

And as you’re re having your dinner, you’ll be thankful for all the people who had let you go because without them you’ll not have that wonderful moment at a fancy restaurant. Saying “Yes” to the person you want to spent your whole life with.

One day you’ll be grateful for all the people who left you because if they didn’t do that your soulmate wouldn’t be able to find you.

And you’ll be thankful that some things didn’t work out, because when you’re old at 75, having a cup of tea, sitting on your favorite wooden rocking chair, you’ll realize that everything that you’ve been through leads you to where you are meant to be and to the person you are meant to be with.

Because after all in life,

We can never have a rainbow without a little rain.
