This is the dating of the age of Aquarius! The Aquarius, born January 20 to February 18, is a popular sign in the Zodiac, in that the Aquarius is likely to have many friends and acquaintances, in part due to their ability to really hustle. They’re always thinking about how they can improve their lives, and the lives of people they care about. And, like Leos, they also have a lot of pride. Be sure to ask your Aquarius date all about their various projects, but slide it into the conversation – unlike Leos, the Aquarius doesn’t necessarily like to make everything all about them (sorry, Leos, take it up with my inbox.)
The Aquarius person is likely to be a little more (okay, WAY MORE) eccentric than someone of another sign. They’d probably love to go some weird art show, like a gallery of celebrity portraits done on bar coasters. Take them to that. These people follow the beat of their own drum (their drummer is probably Animal), and are very set in their ways. In this way, the Aquarius can be a little stubborn. But they’re not jerks about it, because they ultimately want what’s best for the couple. If something good happens to you, your Aquarius mate is going to tell everyone. Because, again, the Aquarius likes to share when good things happen to people they know and/or possibly love.
This sign is also known for its independence, so in order to get the Aquarius to date you exclusively, you’ve got to be breezy about it. Don’t try to change everything about them (though that goes for anyone you’re dating.) Don’t try to force them to be someone they’re not. If your Aquarius date has a dream of being a lion tamer, there’s absolutely no point in trying to convince them of doing anything else. You’re just gonna have to go with it. Sorry.
The Aquarius also loves intelligent discussion. Dazzle them with your smarts and wit, and they’ll be a lot keener on locking this down. For some people, this is easy; others may have to work at it. And if it’s too much work for you, it’s probably not worth it.
Don’t be surprised if you go a while without hearing from your Aquarius. The Aquarius tends to disappear for a bit and then come roaring back with all kinds of news. It’s nothing personal; they’re just in their own little world. And, dear mermaid, if you want to be part of their world, you’ve got to be able to adapt to that. Just let them go off, drumming to the beat of their own Animal, knowing that it doesn’t have anything to do with you.
