We see you, you filthy American. When Clint Dempsey scored the goal 34 seconds in, you started the “USA, USA, USA” chant, and you yelled it twice more after everyone else stopped.

Most people in your life only get to call you friend, but I get the incredible privilege of having your genes and calling you “Dad.”

Do we choose to be bogged down by work, financial issues, relationship drama, and anxiety about the future? Or instead, do we choose to dance before the setting sun and decide that it’s okay if our clothes get wet?

Do everything on purpose.
