Thought Catalog is a popular millennial-focused media company. We’re looking for someone to analyze and grow our audience via our website at http://www.thoughtcatalog.com, as well as on social media, podcasts, eBooks, and more.

Applicant should be a college graduate with strong Excel skills and a good understanding of social media and online culture.   This job is located at our headquarters in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. You will learn a ton about the media business, and work with a dynamic, lean team in a flexible environment.

Job Responsibilities:

-Work directly with our executives to grow the reach of Thought Catalog’s website as well as our social media channels.

-Optimize profitability and effectiveness of advertising campaigns, and maximize returns on advertising spend.

-Be the master of Google Analytics.

-Proactively identify and highlight key trends and insights. Use analytics to tell us what’s hot on the site right now.

-Manage current audience development partnerships and strike new ones.

Skills / Qualifications:

-BA/BS in business, economics, statistics, marketing, research methods, or other quantitative area.

-Proficiency in Excel and more importantly, a natural understanding of numbers and statistics is crucial for success in this role.

-Strong written and communication skills.
