You Deserve More Than Him

By

You deserve more.

You deserve more than to stick around as an option.

You deserve more than someone who only calls when he wants to be inside you.

You deserve more than someone who can’t make up their mind.

You deserve more than someone who can’t reply to your texts, because a conversation about their day takes up too much of their time.

You deserve more than someone who can only provide a false sense of security.

You deserve more than someone who can’t give you what you need because they would rather delegate their time to four other women that can fulfill theirs.

You deserve more than sitting in a pool of tears when it feels like he doesn’t give a fuck about you. That he only wants you and pays attention when his libido is in control.

You deserve more than the bad days overruling the good.

You deserve more than blaming yourself for his indiscretions.

You’re worth so much more than his lies.

When you are in a toxic relationship of any kind it is easy to ignore the red flags and stay when your friends are begging you to walk away. When you are in that heart-eyed bubble, it is difficult to see when something is negatively impacting your life. We’ve all been there. Sacrificed our happiness for men who only want us on their time.

I want you to know that you deserve so much better, you are strong enough and will be so much happier without him. I don’t care if he makes you smile one out of the seven days of the week. Crying for the other six does not make him worth sticking around for. You don’t have to put up with anything. There are plenty of other men out there that are not self-absorbed or so hot and cold.

You must realize that it’s hard on the people that care about you. Seeing you disappointed and upset all of the time, you may think you’re hiding it well, but we notice it. The little changes. Learn to seek help and comfort in your friends and family, not a partner that drains the life out of you.

We can try all we want to open your eyes, but at the end of the day, only you can make that decision.

One day you’ll wake up and barely recognize yourself. You’ll see you’ve lost your fire and the exhaustion behind those once shining eyes will tell that you’ve wasted your time on a man who wasn’t worth it.

You’re worth so much more than him.

I wish you would realize and walk away.
