Your Instagram feed is constantly updating throughout the day, with everything from photos of what someone ate to really nice-looking photos you could imagine framed on a wall (or at least shared on Facebook).

So how does an Instagram photo stand out? What can make it unique and not something you scroll by in a flash? Mercedes-Benz launched a promotion in support of their new car, the CLA, that asked users from around the world to upload their truly extraordinary Instagram photos to www.untamed-installation.com to show off what’s new and inspiring.

The best of these submitted photos were displayed in a special digital photo installation called #Untamed that premiered in Paris last month. These photos were restaged within an urban loft space, with the Instagram photos inspiring the backdrops for fully designed living spaces, making them vibrant, colorful, and unique. #Untamed, like the name.
