Dear Homeschoolers, I wish I didn’t have to write this to be perfectly honest. I would prefer to let the world ignore us, or see us as perfectly normal.
Your thoughts—especially repetitive thoughts—can rewire synapses in your brain to connect faster. What this means is that where before there was space between one negative thought and the next, now there is a decreased amount of space, or a bridge if you will.
If I could jump inside your head and slap your inner critic, I would in half a heartbeat.
When you feel like your world is ending remember that the world itself does not stop. You have to keep going.
Time is precious. It doesn’t offer reset buttons or do-overs.
You’re going to keep being fat unless you change the way you eat, just like your life is going to keep sucking unless you change the way you live.
Don’t sweat the small stuff. When you look back on life though, the menial things don’t matter.
Men and women have to know they are a great catch. Seriously, I can’t stress this enough. If you don’t believe in yourself, how can you expect others to?
Answering “good, how are you?” when the other person only said hi. People don’t actually care about how you are when they ask, but do you know who cares even less? Someone who did not ask.
Stop doing things that don’t fulfill you, stop blaming others for your problems and stop thinking life owes you something because it doesn’t. If you want your life to get better than start living like it.
