If you regret something, it’s because you didn’t learn from it. If you learned something, some kind of lesson, then you should by no means live with any kind of regret.
Live in the present. Seize the freaking day.
You place less emphasis on what people think of you, and more of what you want for yourself.
One thing you don’t realize is how beautiful you are, on the inside and out. One thing you don’t realize is the perfect imperfection you are, powerful in ways that cannot be explained.
Be uncomfortable with uncertainty.
I’m learning that I cannot rush—my decisions, God’s plans, or the feelings written on someone else’s heart. I do not have control of this; I must trust, let go, and let life play out.
Boredom is replaced with purpose.
Rather than keeping with the Jones’s, we invest our energy and time into things of lasting value: Passion projects, learning, contribution, volunteering, time with family and friends, and margin for relaxation.
You are stronger for your pain. Your heart is still beating. You will get there.
Maybe, in this moment I’ll let go and just be.
