SALT LAKE CITY, UT.– A woman named Felicia Rea McClure has been arrested after her boyfriend notified the police that he’d found a text message on her phone from a man interested in possibly purchasing McClure’s 13-year-old daughter’s virginity. To this, the daughter reportedly agreed, but later changed her mind. AOL has the scoop:

A Utah mother is behind bars for allegedly attempting to sell her 13-year-old daughter’s virginity for $10,000.

Felicia Rea McClure has been charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse and exploitation of a minor for planning the money-raising scheme, according to investigators in Salt Lake City.

As part of her plan to sell her daughter’s v-card, McClure is alleged to have admitted that she had taken pictures of her daughter and sold them to another man.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, she could face lifetime imprisonment. McClure has previously been arrested on counts of possession and DUI.

Brian and Shannon Gore

In a major WTF, Virginia? incident last week, a young girl was found caged in her crib inside her parents’ mobile home in Gloucester County. According to girl’s father, Brian Gore, she had been there since last summer.

The girl, believed to be between 5 and 6 years old, was in a state of decrepitude. The Sheriff’s Office described her as “extremely malnourished and suffering from severe starvation…[and] covered in feces and in the nude.” One report indicates that she was eating pieces of her dead skin for nourishment.

That’s not all: police also found the remains of a young child of indeterminate age and gender when digging around a shed on the property, which made the charges against Brian and Shannon Gore, the mother, go up from felony child abuse and attempted capital murder to first-degree murder.

Authorities found the young girl when investigating a robbery that lead them to the Gore residence. A homeowner in the neighborhood had accused the Gores of stealing a gold bullion from his home and selling it at an auction house.

Tim Hudnall, one of the Gores’ neighbors, told The Daily Press that he had never seen the girl before, making the incident – in all likelihood – another instance of a feral child. Sadly, a look at the history of these children reveals that the prospects are grim for the young girl. She is currently being cared for at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk.

Eugene ‘Stonner’ Ashley, 26, of Georgia, was given one year in jail and issued a $300 fine for tattooing “DB” – short for “Daddy’s Boy,” on his three-year-old son’s shoulder blade. Ashley reported to police that he had been drunk at the time and as such does not remember tattooing his boy.

Matthew’s tattoo was discovered by social workers who came to his house after receiving a complaint from someone about the living conditions there. The boy was taken into custody, then released to his uncle, George Hawkins.

Mr Hawins said he thought Ashley was a good father before the discovery of the tattoo.

He said: ‘He’d work 12 to 16 hours a day, feed the kids, give them a bath and put them to bed and then clean the kitchen up.’

In Ashley’s defense, that’s pretty stoic, but, um… one can’t help but recall images of a drunken man forcefully holding his screaming 3-year-old down while stabbing him with a hot needle repeatedly for an extended period of time. Which is fucked.

In court, Ashley pleaded guilty before the case could be heard.
