This is a drawing that I did of ‘The Catcher in the Rye,’ written by Jerome David Salinger in 1951. The novel was originally several thousand pages long; it was later cut down to two hundred and twenty pages; J.D. Salinger wrote it while staying in different hotel rooms in Manhattan.  Later on, he become a recluse. …Underneath the drawing, I have quoted my favorite part of the book.
