Here’s Your Video Of Pets Freaking Out In Front Of Mirrors

By

Hold a mirror up to nature,” Shakespeare once wrote. The full quote being: “The purpose of playing, whose end, both at the first and now, was and is, to hold as ’twere the mirror up to nature: to show virtue her feature, scorn her own image, and the very age and body of the time his form and pressure.” Which is sort of what’s happening in today’s video: mirrors, nature, pets freaking out in front of mirrors. You dig it?

Of course I am only providing a Shakespeare quote to obscure the fact that I am posting a compilation video of animals doin’ stuff — surely always the lazy man’s way out of writing an article. But then, I’m pretty lazy. I’m so lazy that I might not even finish this sentence. No. That was a fake out. I totally finished that sentence. This one, too.

ANYWAY, below is your video of pets freaking out in front of mirrors. Pets… nature’s idiots. We’ve got some cats, some dogs, some disgusting lizards, and even a wild bird freaking out in front of a car mirror. If you’re anything like me, you’ll fast forward past the non-cat parts and only watch the cat-related parts. I mean, my god… the first cat, with the puffy tail. The PUFFY TAIL. The one trying to dig its way through the floor in panic when it sees itself in the mirror? I am speechless; I have no words — except maybe for WHO’S A LITTLE CUTIE. And then the one with the black-marble-like eyes who tries to fight himself in the mirror? My god; my god. Cats: nature’s gift to lonely internet writers like me.

Anyhow, here’s the goddamn video. Enjoy.
