5. Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star

Many movies on this list I’m happy to watch again, because there’s a certain joy to be derived from their feverish terribleness. Bucky Larson, a movie about the porn industry, is a place where pleasure goes to die. It’s a movie that looks like a parody of itself, like a really raunchy Mad TV sketch stretched out to feature length. Nick Swardson plays Bucky with all wig and teeth, in a performance recalling both Jerry Lewis and hell, and Christina Ricci looks bewildered as his girlfriend, forever smiling like she just got a bad Botox injection.

The movie was so bad that it didn’t even win Worst Picture at the Razzies — because I don’t think they could get enough of the voters to watch it.
